SMR AND E-LEARNING

SMR is already well established in the field of on-site training, running its programs on such areas as performance management, competency management, values / emotional intelligence, first line management, personal development and fun training. With increasing connectivity across the globe e-learning now offers another platform for deploying training programs to organisational clients. So it is an opportunity that extends the reach of SMR in its effort to offer corporate learning opportunities. Both, within an organisation and open market.

SMR has developed and deployed competency based development HRD software. In its present version it is called HRDPower.Net. This software helps organisations to evaluate and understand competency levels of its employees. Competency gaps of employees can be overcome by training intervention, which is presently largely on-site based. HRDPower.Net has the potential to allow integration with our e-learning software, LearningPower.Net which is being developed. LearningPower.Net will be able to deliver content (developed by HRDWebvarsity)

The Training Needs Analysis developed from HRDPower can be linked to the programmes of LearningPower.net. This provides great value to the customer, as the competencies gaps are address not just by off line but also online training.

Increasingly, there is an attempt to bring on-site and online learning together into an effective blend to deliver training / learning. With the development of our e-learning capability, blended learning will become a real opportunity for us to offer learning services to the corporate sector.

SMR is in an advantageous position to develop a virtual university addressing the learning needs of the HR Community. Its long established experience in Human Resource Management and Development along with its technological competency allows it to create the HRDWebvarsity, a virtual learning institution.
