Learning Unit 2 : Walt Disney

Refinements in products and services of the Disney theme parks have made many of its more than 70 million annual visitor’s appluad. Among the hundrends of thousands of letters the company received in one recent year was several complaining that chidren have few opportunities to meet the Disney Characters or have their pictures taken with Mickey Mouse. Here was clearly an area needing improvement, and as a Disney official saw it, what better opportunity to refine an existing service than dressing employees up like Mickey Mouse and other characters to roam the park and greet customers.
